JACO "SIGHTINGS"

This dancin' Jaco was sighted at Tom Stroud's.
"I was watching Francois Truffaut's 1979 film L'amour en Fuite
(Love on the Run) and towards the end there is a scene in a record
store and Jaco's self titled LP is clearly visible at the front of one
of the record bins. I suspect it wasn't purely by chance that it was there."
~Andy Forward
On one of the TV sitcom 'WKRP in Cincinnati' episodes there is a
Word of Mouth poster on one of the walls at the radio station.

"Greg (Pastorius) told me once that on the show Mystery Science Theater 3000,
a guy walked into a scene who had long hair and a headband on.
One of the characters watching the film commented,
"Hey look! It's Jaco Pastorius making a cameo!"
~Marcus Pelta
'Jaco Pastorius' was the answer two different times on the game show Jeopardy
which happens to have been one of Jaco's most favorite TV shows to watch.
"Just bought these days a used mondeo from a friend. When I got home,
I noticed that the license plates are DAY-0112.
In Brazil, our date format is with the day before the month.
The owner before my friend must have chosen the numbers..."
~Atila Tini
