For me Jaco was the only great musician that play our instrument less the wish of a simple exhibition of technique like the most players we have now.
The most important thing for him was comunicate emotions...when I'm listening 3 Views of a Secret I feel all the possible emotions that a music can give to my soul. I'm sory for my english because I'm italian, but I hope you understand what I want to say.

I have went through this site, for the past 3 hours.
I truly feel it was of the lords doing I was to
happen on to such beauty and love for one person,

Seitdem ich 1976 von Jaco erfuhr, vergeht kaum eine Woche, dass ich Seine Musik nicht h%F6re. Damals war ich noch ein Kind, heute habe ich schon selber Kinder. Sie kennen Jaco ebenfalls. Die Liebe zu seiner Musik=Ihm wird nie vergehen.

I've been thinking about writing somthing like this for a long time to tell people what I think about Jaco. Everyone knows that Jaco was the greatest electric bass player in the world, and made sure no one made him swallow his pride. It's just hard to think that such a tragic illness could happen to such a phenomenal person. Well it did, and no one can take that back. But we still can keep him and his music apart of us. Just imagine the possibilities that would've occured if Jaco had lived. Too much to imagine. This message was just to keep Jaco apart of jazz and music alike forever.
